Terms & Conditions

Caroline Stokesberry-Lee - Terms and Conditions

Materials

All items are either Sterling Silver, 9ct Gold or 18ct Gold when specified, and are hallmarked when necessary with the Edinburgh Assay Office. Each item is hand crafted so, unlike machine mass produced jewellery, MAY have small marks and imperfections from the jeweller's tools; this adds to the uniqueness and individuality of the pieces and should be a consideration when purchasing. Sterling silver will tarnish naturally over time. We recommend cleaning your jewellery regularly in soapry water and using a polishing cloth. A follow up polishing service is offered for customers who have purchased a piece. Postage costs are the responsibility of the customer should they wish to avail of this service.

 Gemstones
All gemstones are purchased from a very reputable source, and are of the highest quality. Raw Gemstones will vary in colour, size and shape, as they are used in their natural state and remain uncut and unpolished.  Gemstones will vary in colour, shape and size from images displayed.  Due to the process used to create some pieces, Raw Gemstones may slightly change colour, this is a part of the process used to create particular one of a kind and one off pieces.  Should you have a specific request for a custom piece and wish to ensure a particular colour, shape or size of stone, please specify this at the time of ordering.  We cannot accept returns on custom made pieces due to gemstone colour.
