When I discovered the ethereal music of Cornish singer, Elizabeth Freeborn, I was completely mesmerised. Hauntingly beautiful tones transport the listener on a healing journey of soul seeking and deep introspection. Elizabeth's intuitive and often spontaneous process of creating music really struck a chord with me, since a significant part of my own design and making process is highly intuitive and spontaneous. I was therefore delighted to work on a collab with Elizabeth for the launch of her latest album 'Emerald'. 'Emerald' is a 10 track experimental musical journey featuring ethereal melodies, luscious healing sounds and the beautiful old Cornish language. The intro track of the album is called 'Longing for the North', which Elizabeth wrote whilst she was in Thailand and found herself longing for home and the cold of the ocean further north.
